“It was exciting to end the Second Day of my working tour of Bomet County with an interactive session with students of SOT Technical Training Institute. We must keep engaging our children in conversations in institutions of higher learning because this is our future. When you see me spend time speaking to such youth, it is because someone spoke to me in my young days. It is also exciting to learn that these students and the community of SOT believes that God Lives here (at SOT) as their slogan states. I also reminded the students to stay away from alcohol, drugs and substance abuse. Also present were Governor Prof. Hillary Barchok, his Spouse and the County First Lady Seline Barchok, Bomet Deputy Governor Shadrack Rotich, Area MCA Peter Langat and other Members of the County Assembly and the County Executive, The local administration, School Management led by The Chief Principal Dr. Robert Cheres among others.”
