The department aims to prepare trainees for careers in agriculture and environmental management by combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, fostering an understanding of sustainable practices, and addressing current challenges in these fields. The curriculum is designed to provide hands-on experience in modern farming techniques, sustainable practices, and the use of agricultural technology. Students learn about soil health, irrigation systems, and the latest advancements in agricultural science to improve productivity and sustainability. Trainees also learn about ecosystems, conservation practices, and environmental protection. They gain insights into environmental impact assessments, waste management, and sustainable resource use as well as how to analyze environmental data, manage natural resources, and implement practices to mitigate environmental degradation.
